Training Waiver
Training Waiver and Participation Acknowledgment
A launch-ready draft explaining the safety expectations and consent layers required for Worthy Ryu martial arts participation.
This page is a launch-ready draft and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before official production use.
Participation Risk
Martial arts training can include physical movement, contact, partner drills, impact, falls, fatigue, and other inherent risks. Students should train within their ability and follow instructor direction at all times.
Parents or guardians must review and sign required participation consent for child students before official enrollment or continued training.
Emergency and Medical Information
Students and parents should keep emergency contacts, physician information, allergy notes, medication notes, asthma or respiratory notes, and physical limitation notes current.
Emergency and medical information is private and should only be visible to authorized admins, assigned Sensei, parents/guardians for connected children, and adult students for their own records.
Home Practice and Video Lessons
Home practice should be limited to safe solo drills unless a qualified instructor specifically authorizes otherwise. Throws, locks, takedowns, partner techniques, and advanced movements should be practiced only under qualified instructor supervision.
Training videos are for review and guided practice. They do not authorize unsupervised partner techniques or advanced movement outside the dojo.
AI Assistant Disclaimer
The Worthy Ryu Assistant may support learning, reflection, summaries, quizzes, and practice planning, but it does not replace a Sensei.
The assistant cannot approve belts, diagnose injuries, decide what is safe for a student's body, or override instructor judgment.
